One of Australia’s most iconic fashion brands is proudly announcing their resurgence – this time into the online market space.
In a time where fashion is becoming more competitive and brands have been fighting to stay afloat, OJAY has made a strategic comeback.
OJAY has produced a limited range of new designs, sourcing quality European fabrics with designer digital prints and patterns exclusive only to OJAY. Combining this with local manufacturing and smaller production run of each item – they are able to guarantee their customers amazing quality at a competitive price.
“We want to embrace our Australian heritage by manufacturing locally instead of overseas” says Managing Director Harry Goles. “This allows us to produce what we feel is a higher quality range and better value for our customers” he adds.
The decision not to open retail stores nationally has also allowed the company to revive in a tough economic climate. They will house a store open to public at their Chapel Street Headquarters, however the primary focus is offering the women of Australia the same shopping experience online.
It’s been a well-publicised challenge for major retailers to keep up with growing demand and trend of shopping online.
OJAY had been providing quality fashion to the Australian public for over 30 years when they went into administration late 2012, along with other great fashion labels such as Bettina Liano and Lisa Ho.
