THE LOOK:
The hair look created by Redken Creative Consultant Guido was all about pared back simplicity for the Victoria Beckham Spring Summer 2014 runway at New York Fashion Week. With a simple low ponytail pulled back by a basic black headband, the simplicity of the hair allowed the sleek design aesthetic of the collection to shine through.
“Overall it’s a very minimal aesthetic; a very clean and modern look for Victoria Beckham. She wanted the hair to emphasize uniformity on the runway, which is why I pulled the hair away from the face and secured it with a basic black headband. In a way, this look is both modern and classic.”

THE HOW-TO:
1. Apply Redken satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to damp hair from root to ends.
2. Using a paddle brush, blow dry hair back and away from the face.
3. Gather hair about one inch from the neck into a low pony and secure with an elastic.
4. Finish with fashion work 12 versatile working spray to tame any flyaways and add shine.
5. Place a wide black headband over head and pull the ponytail through.
